The Formula
What is KōJō Daily Formula?
KōJō Daily Formula is a fully transparent, clinically dosed all-in-one daily supplement. One scoop covers 50 active ingredients across 8 body systems — energy, focus, sleep, stress, immunity, hormonal health, gut health, and cardiovascular function.
Every dose is published on the label. No proprietary blends, no hidden amounts. Read the full brief →
How many ingredients are in the formula?
Formula v4.1 contains 50 active ingredients. The full breakdown — every ingredient, every dose, every source — is published on the formula page and on the product label.
See the complete evolution of the formula on our formula history page.
What does it taste like?
Yuzu-matcha. Light, clean, slightly earthy. No artificial sweeteners. The flavour was developed alongside the formula — compliance only works if you look forward to taking it every morning.
Most people find it easy to drink. A small number find the matcha earthiness takes a day or two to get used to. Stick with it.
Is the formula third-party tested?
Yes. Every batch is independently tested by an accredited laboratory before it ships. The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is published — scan the QR code on your pouch. What is on the label is what is in the product.
Questions about a specific batch? Email hello@kojo.co.
What is the current formula version?
The current version is v4.1, launched in 2025. It includes 50 ingredients with creatine confirmed at 5,000mg and a Certificate of Analysis programme covering every batch.
Every change to the formula is documented on the formula history page with the reason it was made. The formula improves when the evidence improves — that is the only reason to change it.
Is KōJō an all-in-one supplement?
Yes. The formula is designed to replace a full supplement stack — creatine, magnesium, vitamin D3, K2, B complex, adaptogen, CoQ10, probiotics, and more — in a single daily scoop.
Most people taking it find they can stop buying 6 to 10 separate products. See the full ingredient list →
Science & Dosing
Why are the doses so high compared to other supplements?
Because most supplements use doses below what the research actually used. KōJō matches the clinical trial doses — the amounts that produced the measured effects in peer-reviewed studies.
A sub-clinical dose may not produce the same result. See our research references →
What is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is a document from an independent, accredited laboratory confirming that a batch matches its stated contents — ingredients, doses, contaminants, and purity. It is the standard by which pharmaceutical manufacturing is verified.
Most supplement brands do not publish CoAs. KōJō does, for every batch. Scan the QR code on the pouch or email hello@kojo.co for a specific batch document.
Can I take KōJō with other supplements?
Generally yes. The formula is comprehensive by design, so check for overlap before adding anything else to your routine. If you are already taking creatine, vitamin D3, or magnesium separately, you may not need to continue — the formula covers all three at clinical doses.
Check the full ingredient list before stacking to avoid duplicating doses. If you are unsure, email hello@kojo.co.
Is it safe to take if I am on medication?
Speak to your GP before starting any new supplement if you are taking prescription medication. Some ingredients — rhodiola rosea, for example — can interact with certain antidepressants and medications that affect serotonin levels.
We would always rather you check first. The full ingredient list with sources is on the formula page.
Results & Usage
How long until I notice results?
Week 1 to 2: Most people notice cleaner energy and sharper focus. The B vitamins, magnesium, and adaptogens work relatively quickly.
Week 4 to 6: Sleep quality and stress baseline begin to shift. Bacopa and rhodiola take longer to accumulate — bacopa especially benefits from the full 8–12 week window.
Week 8+: The full picture. Creatine, CoQ10, and the long-acting ingredients reach steady state. Supplements compound — give it the time.
How do I take KōJō?
One scoop (~30 g) in the morning. Mix with 250 to 300 ml of cold water — a shaker or tall glass works well. Takes about 20 seconds.
Ideally with food: the 66 mg caffeine and 5 g creatine sit easier with a small breakfast, though consistency matters more than timing. Same time every day, however you take it.
Can I take it on an empty stomach?
Yes — many people do, and most are fine. We recommend taking it with food for best tolerance (the 66 mg caffeine and 5 g creatine sit easier with a small breakfast). If you take it fasted and feel any mild nausea (rare, usually from the high-dose B vitamins), switch to with breakfast.
Is KōJō suitable for vegans?
Yes. The formula is fully vegan. The vitamin D3 source is algae-derived (not lanolin). All other ingredients are plant, mineral, or synthetic origin. No animal-derived ingredients, no gelatine capsules.
Can I take KōJō alongside Niwa breathing exercises?
Yes — and the combination is intentional. Several ingredients in the formula (magnesium bisglycinate, L-theanine) directly support HRV and stress response, which are the same physiological pathways that structured breathwork targets.

About KōJō
Who founded KōJō?
Tom and Ash. Two people in their 30s who spent years reading the same research independently and could not find a supplement that used it honestly. They built KōJō for themselves. Both take it every morning.
What does KōJō mean?
KōJō is derived from the Japanese concept of continuous improvement — the idea that the formula, like the person taking it, is always getting better. Formula v4.1 is the best version yet. It will not be the last.
Where is KōJō manufactured?
The formula is manufactured in the UK in a GMP-certified (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. Every batch is independently tested before dispatch. The Certificate of Analysis is published on every pouch.

Subscriptions & delivery
How does the subscription work?
One scoop a day. £58.65 a month — 15% off the one-time price. Pause, skip, or cancel from your account at any time, no minimum term. The 15% rate locks the day you subscribe and never increases. See full subscription detail →
How fast is UK delivery?
Two to three working days, free across the UK on every order. Orders ship from a fulfilment partner in England. Tracking is sent on dispatch. Read the shipping policy →
Can I change my delivery cadence?
Yes — pick 30, 45, 60, or 90 days from your account. The intent is one scoop a day; the cadence simply controls when the next pouch ships. Most subscribers settle on 30-day after the first cycle.
Can I cancel without a retention call?
One tap from your account → Subscriptions → Cancel. Or email hello@kojo.life and we'll do it for you within one working day. No retention call, no penalty, no hold rates.
Comparisons
How is KōJō different from AG1 / Athletic Greens?
AG1 is built around proprietary blends — you do not see the dose of any individual ingredient. KōJō publishes every milligram of every ingredient on the label, with no proprietary blends and no superfood-powder filler. We use clinically-relevant doses derived from the same trials we cite. Read the full case →
How is KōJō different from a multivitamin?
A standard multivitamin covers a handful of basic vitamins and minerals at maintenance doses. KōJō is fifty actives across nine categories — vitamins and minerals at trial-grade doses, plus adaptogens, amino acids, antioxidants, polyphenols, gut and cognitive support. It replaces the multivitamin and the stack you would otherwise build around it.
How is KōJō different from a "greens powder"?
Greens powders are usually marketed on green-colour aesthetic and use under-dosed plant extracts. KōJō is a daily formula — the greens that matter (matcha, moringa, mint) sit alongside the vitamins, minerals, and adaptogens that move biomarkers. See the full ingredient list →
Why no Ashwagandha or iron?
Ashwagandha causes problems for a non-trivial subset of users (gastrointestinal, hormonal, hepatic flags in the literature). We chose Rhodiola — better tolerated, well-evidenced for adaptogenic effect. Iron we omit deliberately — supplementation outside diagnosed deficiency is associated with elevated oxidative stress and is not appropriate as a daily formula. See the philosophy that drives ingredient inclusion →
Compliance & evidence
Is the formula GMP-certified?
Yes. KōJō Daily Formula is manufactured in a GMP-certified (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. Every batch is third-party tested for purity, potency, and contaminants. The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is available on request and published per batch.
Is it vegan / gluten-free / dairy-free?
Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, sugar-free. Sweetener is xylitol, used at low levels for tolerability. Full nutritional and allergen detail →
Are claims approved by a regulator?
Health claims on this site track the published trial that produced the result we cite. We follow UK CMA / DMCC guidance on supplement marketing — no fabricated reviews, no unsupported clinical claims, no proprietary-blend obfuscation. Where authorised health claims (UK / EU) exist for an ingredient, we use the authorised wording. See the full evidence base →
