Welcome to KōJō. These terms govern your use of kojo.life and your purchase of our products. They sit alongside your statutory rights as a UK consumer — they do not replace them. Please read them carefully.

2. Using our website
You agree to use kojo.life lawfully and not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Interfere with the proper working of the site
- Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the site without our written permission
3. Products & pricing
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Ingredient lists and dosages reflect the current formula version. Updates are documented in our Formula Changelog.
- We may update prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already placed; and do not affect the price on any active subscription — the rate you signed up at is the rate you keep, until you choose to cancel.
- In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order. You will be free to confirm at the correct price or to cancel without charge.
4. Supplement disclaimer
Rōnin Daily Formula is a food supplement, not a medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new supplement, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children.
5. Orders & payment
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. The contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation email.
- Order confirmation emails acknowledge receipt of your order; they are not contract acceptance.
- Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
6. Subscriptions
Subscription orders renew automatically on your chosen cycle.
- The first billing cycle starts on the date you place the subscription order.
- Subsequent billing cycles run at the renewal date displayed in your account.
- The rate you sign up at is the rate you keep. If we change the public price, your active subscription stays on its original rate until you choose to cancel.
- You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date, via your account portal (one tap, no retention queue) or by emailing hello@kojo.life. Cancellations take effect from the next renewal.
- Already-dispatched orders are subject to the 30-day money-back guarantee in our Refund policy, on top of your statutory rights.
7. Your statutory consumer rights (the floor)
Under UK law you have rights we cannot and do not try to remove:
- 14-day cooling-off period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013): right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, for unwanted items. Note: opened food supplements may fall under the hygiene-seal exemption (CCRs reg. 28(3)) — we still offer a full refund within 30 days as a goodwill gesture even if the seal is broken.
- 30-day right to reject (Consumer Rights Act 2015 s.20): goods that are faulty, of unsatisfactory quality, or not as described — full refund.
- Repair or replacement (CRA 2015 s.23–24): for issues discovered after 30 days but within a reasonable period.

8. Delivery
Standard UK delivery is free on all orders. Typical delivery time: 3 to 5 working days from dispatch. Full details in our Shipping policy.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, formulations, and brand assets — is owned by KōJō Nutrition Ltd or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission. The KōJō name and logo are trademarks of KōJō Nutrition Ltd.
10. User content
If you submit content to us (reviews, photos, or social posts tagging KōJō), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for marketing purposes. We will credit you where reasonable. You can withdraw that licence at any time by emailing hello@kojo.life — we will stop using the content within a reasonable period, while accepting that we cannot recall content already circulated.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- We are not liable for loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or anything else that cannot be excluded under English law.
12. Privacy & data protection
Our Privacy policy sets out how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data, and the rights you have under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a UK consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date below reflects the most recent change.
- Minor changes (typos, clarifications, contact details): take effect when posted.
- Material changes (anything affecting your rights, prices, subscription mechanics, or how we use your data): we will give you reasonable advance notice by email (if you have a marketing account or active subscription) and, where required by law, ask you to re-consent before they apply to you. Continued use of the site does not by itself constitute acceptance of material changes to consent-based processing or to terms that change your statutory or contractual rights.
15. Complaints
If you have a complaint about anything — product, service, billing, marketing — email hello@kojo.life with "Complaint" in the subject. We will respond within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, you may escalate to Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
